Istanbul Jamie’s opened in 2013 at Zorlu Center. For Jamie’s, whose design concept is standard, Net Mimarlık has partnered with an international company with local consultants and main contractors. The restaurant is around 1100 m², spread over three floors as ground, mezzanine and first floor. The Ground and First floor also house their respective terrace seating, complimenting the rustic, bustling and sociable ambiance that was expected to be created for Jamie’s. The restaurant creates a wow factor, and that has been achieved by balancing impression, quality, and cost. The mezzanine houses the offices and service facilities for the guests. Net Mimarlik completed the restaurant according to the international architect’s requirements and aimed to keep harmonious with the overall ambience of Zorlu Center. All finishes, materials and furniture were sourced/manufactured as per the Jamie’s design concept. All the chandeliers were bespoke, purpose-designed and have been manufactured locally. Most of the furniture is custom made as per the client’s corporate identity and design concept. The restaurant was completed within the tight deadline and timescale restrictions, which was a huge challenge in itself.
